The Malaysian Prime Minister is receiving unwavering support from his wife on his stance against homosexuality. Datin Seri Paduka Rosmah Mansor expressed her views against the LGBTI community to the Phnom Penh Post.
‘You know why HIV and AIDS occur… how it is being spread. Now the number of people suffering from HIV is alarming.
‘You have to nip [homosexuality] in the bud. If you don’t, when the time comes and you have to stop [homosexuality], you will find it’s too late’, she said.
Mansor’s views have been described as ‘bogus and extremely homophobic’ by Ou Virak, the President of the Cambodian Centre for Human Rights.
