Chrissie Parrott’s name is synonymous with groundbreaking work, and she proves such merit again with Metadance In Resonant Dance, an experimental dance crossover between animation, sound and text. The work is based around the use of choreographic animation software Life Forms and creates a world where digital projections dance alongside real time flesh and blood counterparts. The result is a kinetic multi-layered adventure in animation, both real and computer generated. This new work opens February 14 and runs until February 21 at PICA. www.pica.org.au
