The play had performances scheduled all the way until 25 November, but on Tuesday night the show announced it was unable to go on that evening, the next day the remainder of the season was cancelled.

Renagade Productions, the company behind the show, has announced that all tickets that had been purchased will be refunded. While they did not elaborate on why the show has stopped, they did describe it as “circumstances beyond their control”.

The show which opened just last week received enthusiastic reviews from theatre critics. OUTinPerth described the show as “beautifully bizarre”, while saying it was a night at the theatre you would never forget. The West Australian said the show was “brave and bold”.
