The new version of the song sees Sivan teaming up with singer Alessia Cara who adds her vocals and a new verse to the track.

Canadian singer Alessia Cara is best known for her sleeper hit ‘Here’ that slowly worked its way to the top of the US charts.

Sivan told Billboard magazine that he wanted to show a positive depiction of gay relationships.

“For me, the song is always about those initial butterflies you get when you meet someone new. I wanted to capture that and capture it in a bunch of different ways and show people that love is love no matter what form it’s in,” Sivan said.

The video includes footage of Sivan making out with his onscreen boyfriend and ends with the hashtag #keeponkissing
