When did you first start making music?

I have been writing lyrics since I was very young. I have written so many songs on my guitar and piano that I have lost count, but they range from ballads to rock songs depending on what I am feeling at the time but electro pop is my absolute favourite music style and is the style of a majority of my music.

What was your inspiration for this song?

I wrote Control, Alter Delete about a time when I was working in Brisbane clubs and just wanted to have fun without the bullshit of a relationship holding me down. It basically means that if anyone tries to control me or alter me, I will delete them out of my life.

What kind of a response have you had from people who’ve listened to the tune?

I have had such a positive response from friends, family and the public, my song has had almost 250,000 views in 3 weeks on youtube and from what I can tell so far, it is doing quite well on iTunes and Google Play.

The chant of ‘3,2,1 we’re naked having fun, up all night we’re getting fucking blind’ is really catchy. When was the last time you got naked at a party?

That would be in Brisbane, that line is about a crazy drunken night which involved a pool party, too much alcohol and a fun mix of friends.

Control, Alter Delete is available now on itunes
