Larry Kramer’s acclaimed play ‘The Normal Heart’ has been adapted by ‘Glee’ and ‘American Horror Story’ creator Ryan Murphy as a TV movie for HBO.
‘The Normal Heart’ tells the story of the beginning of the HIV/AIDS crisis in New York in the early 1980s. Its focus is the gay activists and medical professionals that fought for assistance to combat the disease at a time when American society was still in denial.
