From open days to fun days, exhibitions, workshops, performances and local walks, the fascinating and quirky history of Fremantle goes under the microscope from May 25 to June 2 during the Fremantle Heritage Festival. The Cultural Heritage Day, May 25, in King’s Square, will have displays and demonstrations of ethnic arts and crafts, food tastings and performances of national dance and music. Neither Here Nor There is an all-day concert on June 2 in ten different heritage buildings around Fremantle. Join the city’s own pi ensemble in a musical journey as they improvise ten short concerts.
