Authors Charlie Jane Anders and Annalee Newitz will be heading to Perth in 2019 as the headline guests of Swancon: The Western Australian Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention.

The annual event sees lovers of speculative fiction and sci-fi gathering to discuss their favourite books, films and television programs, and is held over the Easter break.

Charlie Jane Anders, who is transgender, is the author of the best selling, award wining, novel All The Birds in the Sky. She is also the author of the novelette Six Months, Three Days.  

Together the couple host the podcast Our Opinions Are Correct which looks into how ideas put forward in science fiction fit into our everyday lives.
