Ah. Pride. Good for many things, but most importantly… gossip!

Which Pride person had to cancel an appointment because they had split their pants? Now, it’s not just any split, it’s the kind of split that means they can’t go into work or hold a fruity after work special. But not one to solve the problem sensibly, our special boy decided that a needle and thread was far too last century and instead decided to glue their split work pants together. Yes darlings: glue! Naturally, it didn’t work (I’d ask if they were on glue, but that seems apparent). The thing which shocks mOther the most is that their pants actually split after Pride. Aren’t your pants meant to slide off your hips due days of malnutrition? Apparently not, which leads mOther to thick that the gained weight could have only occurred from one source. Protein shake anyone?!

Which DJ was so drunk at the Pride Party that she stuffed up her set? And not just once but five times no less. Dear lord, if only she could play to a tee.

mOther was filled with Pride by the behaviour of her protégé’s at the OUT office. Some got lucky, some got gushy, some varied their usual interpretation of scrubber… mOther would spill the beans on who got more than their fair share of the action, who forgot to tuck, who made it with a blonde and who didn’t…but one wouldn’t want to endanger one’s own coffee cup so if it’s details you’re after…call me later.

Tryst at Onyx will see the likes of Paul Malone, Lara H and Maxwell pump it out every Saturday night. It’s sure to be huge, especially when Steve Edwards drops in for the launch on November 7.

It’s the 20th anniversary of the Berlin Wall and to celebrate The Court Hotel are giving you the chance to tear down the wall all over again. It’s a night that will bring the east and west together with the likes of DJ Minx, direct from Sydney, dropping in to drop some almighty tops with support supplied by DJ Hickey. This all happens on Thursday November 12 at The Court with free entry all night.

Flaunt happens every Thursday and stars the likes of Pride poster pin-up boy Johnni P hitting the decks hard.. Still, one can only presume that he dropped some almighty tunes on it, the kind of bombastic tune dropping that he does every week at Flaunt over at Niche Bar. He’s joined with special guests and the like.

Get your short shorts on ladies it’s time to kick some balls. A Women in Sport Sunday Session is hitting The Court Hotel on November 15 from 2pm. It’ll be an afternoon of female athletes doing heaves and lunges, the kind that make them bristle and sweat in all the right places. Gold coin entry with heaps of door prizes up for grabs. It’ll be tighter than a tight team top, so get in there and get dirty.

Shameless and Connections join forces for the last themed party of the year. This time they are taking it to the beach with a beach party to end all beach parties. There will be sun, surf and sand plus bikini clad beauties. DJs Tintin, Reuben, Johnni P, Mandy, Rob and Joby. That’s a huge line-up… because it promises to be a huge party. The sun rises on this come Saturday November 21.

On a serious note we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge Holly Wood’s memorial which took place recently. It was amazingly attended and marked the passing of one of our community’s greatest spirits. RIP Holly Wood… may there be many many hats for everyone to wear wherever you are now.

That’s it. I’m going to go and have a month long sleep after what has been a monumental Pride!
