Scene Guide Pridefest Day 12

The OUTinPerth photo exhibition Take a Look at Yourself is open at Chrissie Parrott Arts, 4 Sussex Street Maylands. Check out the amazing images we’ve pulled out of our archive – many of them have never been published. Open today, tomorrow and Friday from 12pm – 5pm.

This month’s edition of Sunset Coasters heads to Helvettica, one of the coolest small bars there is. Helvettica is located at the rear of 101 ASt George’s Terrace, the get together starts from 6pm.

Honey Lounge launch a new Wednesday night experience tonight, Get Down features hip hop, soul, disco and funk grooves. Doors open at 8pm.

The Court Hotel presents a second round of their annual Queen of the Court competition.

Lesbian Mud Wreslting is on at Connections Nightclub with JJ and Sahrif on the decks. Doors open from 10pm and all the muddy action get’s going around 1:30am.

Looking Ahead

The City of Vincent are throwing a youth event during Pridefest. The Pridefest Laneway Event will take place next to The Daily Planet Cafe in Mount Lawley and feature live music from local talents. It’s for people aged 13-25 and it’s free. Sunday October 21 4-7pm.

The Pridefest Film Festival is on from October 22 – 26 at Rooftop movies in Northbridge. Head down to see some great films like Pink Flamingo’s, Mala Noche and Black, White and Gray.

Campdown hits The Honey Lounge on October 20, it’s a countdown of the campest dance tunes of all time. Get your tickets now!
