Sergey Pevnev plays Colas, who is in love with Lise. Unfortunately, Lise’s mother is convinced she should marry Alain, the son of a wealthy vineyard owner.

“I would say it’s the perfect production for families, the young kids and old grandparents would love this show as well.” Pevnev told OUTinPerth.

Set in 1950s France, complete with authentic costumes, motorcycles and an original 1964 Vespa, this is set to be a stylish production. Pevnev will make his grand entrance onstage on a motorcycle in a happening James Dean style getup.

“It is unusual, it’s quite fun actually.”

‘La Fille Mal Gardée’ is at His Majesty’s Theatre from September 5th to 20th. Tickets available from www.ticketek.com.au
