Ruby Rose Orange is the New Black

Netflix have released the trailer for Season 3 of ‘Orange is the New Black’, queer lady favourite and all around watchable prison comedy-drama.

Let’s watch the trailer below before we launch into the necessary feelings-festival.

There’s a lot of be excited about here. Alex is back despite rumours of Laura Prepon declining to return to the show, Crazy Eyes is starting a career in erotic fiction, it looks like ‘Tank Girl”s Lori Petty is getting a more substantial role this season and of course Australia’s own Ruby Rose is here to steal hearts and take names. Will she be made to take on an American accent? At this stage, we can all but wonder and simply replay that three second clip of her winking in slow motion on June 12.

The good news is, after the Australian launch of Netflix, we can binge-watch ‘Orange is the New Black’ at the same time as those smug viewers in the US. Winter is coming and there will be no greater opportunity get huddled under a pile of blankets with a hot Milo and enjoy the shenanigans of Piper Chapman as she does her time with all the sass she can muster. Praise be. The future is here.
