With winter setting in, Gender DynamiX, a non-profit group committed to aiding transgendered individuals, has raised concerns about the inability of transgendered people to find a place in shelters. South African shelters are structured to accommodate men or women and there is little done to support those who identify as the opposite gender or are transitioning.
