Mary Poppins Brings Her Bag of Tricks to Perth

Mary Poppins is the latest musical to hit Perth and is its set to open at Burswood Theatre on Saturday night. English performer Lisa Hare has joined the Australian cast for the final stage of the show’s national tour reprising the lead role that she’s previously played in the West End. Lisa’s also played the lead in stage productions of My Fair Lady and Gigi.

Joining Lisa in the cast are Australian performers Simon Burke, Pippa Grandison and Matt Lee. The stage musical of Mary Poppins is based on the 1964 Disney film staring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, which was based on a series of books by P.L. Travers.

Mary Poppins is at Burswood Theatre from March 31 and tickets are available through Ticketek.
