Mark Ronson & Kevin Parker of Tame Impala Jam Out

Widely popular music producer Mark Ronson has teamed up with Kevin Parker, frontman of Tame Impala, one of Western Australia’s most successful music exports of recent years for a new track.

The track, entitled ‘Daffodils’ is part of Ronson’s upcoming album ‘Uptown Special’. Parker sings on three songs on the upcoming album and provides instrumentalisation for several others.

Ronson and his band The Business Intl previously covered Tame Impala’s ‘Solitude is Bliss’.

Also featuring on ‘Uptown Special’ is Bruno Mars in ‘Uptown Funk’, which is set to be performed on Saturday Night Live on October 22nd.

‘Daffodils’ is a tasty combination of Impala-style psychedelics and Ronson’s groovy dance funk. The offspring of these two styles is aurally pleasing and ever so slightly weird. You can listen to it below:
