Independent artist Philip La Rosa, who hails from Fremantle, has a message of hope, love and equality with his new EP Strong.

As Western Australia’s annual PrideFEST kicks off today, La Rosa’s tune Pride provides an uplifting sound track for a time when people reflect on what pride means to each individual.

La Rosa’s passion for music started at the age of 10, which lead him on a long journey to releasing his first single, Pride – at the age of 23.

The overwhelming positive response has lead him to create a music video to reinforce his message of equality which is set to drop on the 18th of Nov, the night prior to his live performance after Perth ‘s Pride Parade.

A short teaser of the video has been released, alongside a lyric video too.

La Rosa’s EP, which is currently available for pre-order, includes 9 original tracks, that promise to take you on a journey of his life, from heartbreak to hope. It also features aspiring artists from Sydney and Canberra.

You can catch Philip La Rosa performing at Adam and Steve’s Garden of Eden, a pop-up bar in the Urban Orchard on Pride night November 19th.

The EP will be released digitally on 2 December, pre-order your copy now.
