Every December we poll the readers of OUTinPerth to see their favourite people, places and things of the past year. Today we share one of our most hotly anticipated lists: the top five favourite local drag queens, as voted by you!

Woman of a thousand faces, The Court’s Drag Factory hostess comes out on top, proving that versatility really pays off.

2. DJ Feminem The Future

After taking the crown for favourite DJ, this queen is kicking goals from here to Darwin, where she’ll be participating in the Queen of the Galaxy Pageant next year.

This fierce young thing is developing her own unique style that’s gotten her to the position of second place at this year’s Queen of the Court competition.

4. Barbie Q

Connections’ resident queen bee is a Perth drag legend in her own right, this year celebrating 15 years at the club.

Bringing back blue brows, this lady is one to watch, delighting crowds at Connections and using cupcakes in fantastic new ways.
