Despite the fact that this series is a sweatshop polyester knockoff of the original, silken DEVIL WEARS PRADA, this Streepless gown about a young , ‘characterful’ (Hollywood speak for ‘ick’) woman who nonetheless becomes a fashionista to rival Morrissey, Tom Ford and Ian Thorpe, is extremely watchable. Pretty Duty falls to hot co-star Eric Mabius, familiar to a gay audience for his role in CRUEL INTENTIONS.
