Have you been asked to be part of the CONNECT study yet? If so, then you may just win a $4000 travel voucher from the Flight Centre.

If not, you need to act now to be part of this unique study and be in the running to win this fabulous prize.

The CONNECT study is the first of its kind in Australia and is a joint project of the National Centre in HIV Epidemiology and Clinical Research, the National Centre in HIV Social Research at UNSW, Curtin University and the WA AIDS Council.

CONNECT is looking at the way men influence each other’s beliefs and behaviours and how this may relate to HIV risk behaviour.

Recruitment is taking place through personal networks rather than at community events and venues to achieve a broader sample of our community, so it’s critical that you keep an eye out for friends with purple coupons. Findings from the study will assist in tailoring HIV interventions.

If you have been given a coupon by a friend and haven’t yet participated, don’t be the one who breaks the ‘referral chain’.

Contact Rita Freijah at Curtin University 0431 659 035 as soon as possible to keep your ‘referral chain’ going and to have a chance at winning that $4000 travel voucher.

If you would like to be part of this study and haven’t been given a coupon, contact Rita to register your interest. Watch out for the purple CONNECT coupons and help shape your community.
