‘I intend to drop a bomb, on my sisters and my Mom. For this year without a doubt, is the Christmas I Come Out!’

If would like to hear the whole ‘coming out’ story, you simply can’t miss this Christmas Cabaret and Dance, hosted by the Gay and Lesbian Singers of WA – GALSWA.

On December 11 from 7.30pm, the Mount Lawley Bowling Club will be rocking to some very exciting and fun Christmas and party arrangements performed by the choir.

This will be followed by fabulous dance music from the silvery decks of DJ Fluffy. We would love to see our old and new friends there, and particularly some of you guys!!

Help GALSWA celebrate a successful year of harmony in diversity. In 2010, we blitzed some important performances both locally and internationally. Performing with the choir is a really interesting experience. There is the support and camaraderie of your fellow choristers, there’s a feeling of pride in your personal achievement and your self confidence just shoots through the roof. Of course, there’s also the fun and learning we have at our weekly Thursday night rehearsals in North Perth.

You are very welcome to come and join GALSWA in 2011. We are particularly looking to recruit basses and tenors, male or female. Don’t be shy boys, come out and play and let the exhibitionist in you shine through!

Cabaret and dance tickets are available from Fran 0419 912 763 or Jackie 0405 081 638 or at the door. Tickets are $15 each or $12 concession.

Bring your dancing shoes, your singing voice and some nibbles to keep up that dancing energy. Drinks are at club prices. Make sure this celebration takes pride of place on your Christmas calendar.
