Fischerspooner have revealed a sultry video for their new tune TopBrazil. The clip sees singer Casey Spooner writhing and grinding with an entourage of hunks dressed in jockstraps and circus outfits.
Are they in a sauna, a disco, a backroom or maybe it’s just a late night Fringe World show, who knows, but it’s certainly eye catching.
In a statement Spooner said the video, “celebrates a pop aesthetic typically reserved for the female archetype, and liberates the male form to be sexual, expressive and fearless.”
The duo first emerged in 2001 as part of the electro-clash movement, but while many artists of that fleeting sub-genre have disappeared, Fischerspooner have forged on.
Their forth album Sir will be out soon. The new record has been produced by REM front man Michael Stipe and Boots. Boots is best known for his production on music from Beyonce and Run the Jewels.
This track is the second single to be lifted from the forthcoming album.
