Fashion At The Edge Of The World (Is The Edge Of The Pearl)

Fringe World is here, and with it comes The Spiegeltent, a 105 year old grand dame of theatrics. The Pearl, as it is affectionately called, is currently nestled in the Perth Cultural Centre’s Urban Orchard. For the next month, it will be home to an array of the best Fringe acts from across the globe, a veritable smorgasbord of international cabaret delights. To celebrate, OUTinPerth asked two of Perth’s leading cabaret performers – Ash Baroque and BAFTA award winner Strykermeyer – to envision a fashion wonderland befitting this bespoke backdrop filled with high end drama courtesy of Zekka and Zekka WMN and a touch of Old World nostalgia thanks to Gorgeous Vintage. The result? Fashion at the edge of the world…
