Equal Love WA announce Winter Vows marriage rally

Equal Love WA have announced the next rally for marriage equality will be on Saturday August 5th.

Organisers say with parliament returning from their winter break it is the perfect time for politicians to pledge a vow of support for marriage equality.

Bolstered by Taiwan and Germany’s recent legalisation of same-sex marriage equality and recent census data that shows same-sex relationships are alive and well in Australia, Equal Love to build upon the international momentum.

The rally will get underway at 1pm in the Murray Street Mall, all the information is posted on the group’s Facebook page.
