Best of the Web

1. East Village Boys is a really suave online publication from New York which takes a different look at artists of all backgrounds. Artists, musicians, photographers etc – they’re all in there and super cool. They take a fresh look at gay culture and mix it all up. The website is a bit hard to initially manoeuvre but it’s pretty after that. Some exceptional photography but some of it is NSFW.

2. For the boys out there, this blog will melt the hearts of the toughest bloke. Quinnford + Scout is a beautiful photo journal from a couple in the UK. It documents their relationship since they met in 2008 with some stunning images. The idea is to capture the excitement of being together and it does in spades. A little voyeuristic but I like to think it’s on the good side. Highly recommend if you want to look at some pretty pictures although some of it is a little personal and NSFW.

3. Jane Lynch Opens The Emmy’s: If you haven’t got enough of Lynch’s singing from Glee, watch her proposition Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss.

4. Check out the trailer to Bill Cunningham, New York – a documentary following New York Times fashion photographer which is on at Cinema Paradiso.

5. God, I love the Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl and his band dress up in flannel and mullets and take on a Westboro Church protest in Kansas City.
