Castiglia – Gallery O

Castiglia

The upper end of William St and surrounds are slowly but surely starting to go through a bit of a revival, as edgy new fashion outlets and galleries push out empty shop fronts. Just off the strip down Brisbane St is new kid on the commercial gallery block, Gallery O. They are launching art glass as a permanent element in the gallery this month with ‘Castiglia’, a collection of nationally and internationally renowned Australian glass artists, among them Tali Dalton. Dalton, a regular in the Chicago SOFA exhibitions and 2006 Tom Malone Prize finalist has work in major international collections, including that of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
