New Zealand brother-sister duo Broods have put out a new remix of their popular song Peach.
The song has been transformed by up-and-coming UK band Bad Sounds who offer, what they describe as, “scuzzy bass sounds and tough drums” to the mix.
“The original already had loads of cool hooks for us to mess around with, so it was low pressure and fun for us. We both got really excited by that main groove when we first stumbled across it so from then on we just got to indulge in scuzzy bass sounds and tough drums for a few days.” Bad Sounds said of their remix.
The tune is the first release from the band’s forthcoming third album which is expected to be out in early 2019. Since being released back in September the track has huge airplay on radio stations including triple j.
Georgia and Caleb Nott are in Perth today getting ready for their support slot on Taylor Swift’s Reputation tour. They’ll play before Taylor Swift and Charli XCX tonight at Optus Stadium.
