Cher has revealed which ABBA songs are on her new album. The singer tweeted the track list with one exception that she’s keeping under wraps.

The singer is currently appearing in the film musical Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again where she sings the ABBA classic Fernando. Cher loved recording the ABBA tune so much she decided to do a whole album of ABBA covers, but she says she’s put her own spin on the much loved tunes.

The new album will feature Waterloo, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Dancing Queen, Chiquititta, Name of the Game, Mamma Mia, One of Us, Winner Takes it All, S.O.S , and the mystery closing track.

Fans are hoping Cher will include some of the tunes in her live show when she arrives in Perth on her Australian tour. The iconic singer will be playing a show at the Perth Arena on Friday 12th October.

It will be her first tour of Australia in thirteen years and the shows will see her celebrate her career that has spanned six decades. Cher’s tour kicks of in Newcastle in late September before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney.

It’s also just been announced that Cher’s career and contribution to the arts will be acknowledged at this year’s Kennedy Centre Honours.

Each year a small number of artists are bestowed the honour, this year Cher, country singer Reba McEntire, composer Philip Glass and jazz great Wayne Shorter have made the exclusive list.

This year the awards have also announced a special award for the musical Hamilton. It’s the first time an individual work has been recognised rather than an artist’s body of work.

Usually the wards are attended by the US President, but President Donald Trump skipped last year’s awards and is not expected to be present when this year’s honours are handed out. Both Cher and Hamilton creator Lin Manuel Miranda have been vocal critics of his administration, plus President Trump previously declared Hamilton to be “overrated”.
