The show is a spin-off off The Good Wife, which ran for seven seasons following the trials and tribulations of Alicia Florick through the the realms of law and politics.

The Good Fight has quickly established itself as its own continuing the stories of characters from the original series, alongside those of new characters.

The second season is currently screening on Wednesday nights on SBS and has been filled with reactions to Trump as President, observations on the media landscape and big developments in the characters personal lives.

Fans were shocked recently when central character lawyer Maia Rendell, played by Rose Leslie from Game of Thrones, found affection away from her girlfriend.

There’s no news on which cast members will be on board for the third season, actress Erica Tazel who played law firm boss Barbara Kolstad in Season one, was switched out for Auda McDonald, who revived a character she played in one episode of the original series.

The show has just four more episode of its second season to air, catch it on SBS at usually at 9:40pm. This weeks episode will air later due to Eurovision.
