TLC were in Perth in 2016 as part of the RnB Friday’s Live show but now they are heading back for a headline show in 2018.
The duo will play a show at HBF Stadium on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.
THe band now comprises founding members Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas. The band’s third member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes died in 2002.
The band’s first album didn;t set the charts on fire, but they found worldwide success with their second record.
In 1994 TLC released CrazySexyCool which became an R&B classic and the only album by a female singing group to achieve diamond status for selling over 14 million copies in America.
CrazySexyCool was nominated for 6 Grammys (winning Best R&B Album), and features iconic songs ‘Waterfalls’ and ‘Creep’.
The follow up to CrazySexyCool, Fanmail, was nominated for 8 Grammy Awards, taking home Album Of The Year and Best R&B Album, as well as winning Record Of The Year for ‘No Scrubs’ and Best Video for ‘Unpretty’.
Following the death of Lopez the band put out 3D, an album which featured recordings Lopez had created before her death. THis year after a 15 year hiatus the band put of their fifth record TLC.
Joining TLC as a support act will be the very bombastic Shaggy.
