RTRFM's Courtyard Club returns to the State Theatre Centre this week

RTRFM’s summer event Courtyard Club returns to the State Theatre this Friday. Each week the community radio station will present a live broadcast of bands, DJs and guests.

This Friday sees the first Courtyard Club of 2017 and it’s a special celebration of the WAM Festival, that runs over this weekend.

Kicking off at 4:00pm, catch a special DJ set from a WAM Hall of Famer and live sets from Airline Food, Nerve Quakes, Spring Peaks, Simone and Girlfunkle (pictured) and Verge Collection.

The performances are broadcast live on the station’s Drivetime program between 5pm and 7pm.

The Courtyard Club is an all-ages event with licensed bar and food options, making it the perfect meeting place to celebrate the end of the working week.

Enjoy free live radio from RTRFM and local music under the stars in the beautiful surrounds of the State Theatre Centre Courtyard every Friday from 3 November ‘til 22 December.

Next week local band Fat Sparrow will be playing while DJ Oliver Laing provides the tunes, on November 17 Peter Bibby will be playing, while DJ Libby Noble will provides her choice of tunes. November 24 will see a performance from Catzilla, while Rock Rattle and Roll presenter Gidget Duck will be on the decks.

In December there will be performances from Erasers, Premiss, Charlie Bucket Band and Bambuseae Rhythm Section.
