Lionizer

Perth indie punk trio Lionizer have just released the first single off their upcoming debut album New Parts of Me.

Titled Violent Delights, the song is a tour de force of blood, sweat and body parts, dealing heavily with the struggles around bipolar disorder, depression and self-destructive tendencies, as well as decrying the rise of call-out culture.

Beneath its raucous exterior, Violent Delights is honest and sincere in asking you to examine yourself and your decisions, to not give in to the expectations of a broken society and to stand up for what you believe.

Along with this new release, Lionizer have also announced a short tour to launch their debut album.

New Parts of Me will be released Oct 23 through Whisk and Key Records, and the tour will cover four shows across Western Australia and Victoria, including Whisk and Key Records infamous Not Fest at the Reverence Bar in Melbourne.

Check out the new tune below.
