FRIDAY

PICA
New show the Cell opens tonight, check it out before heading out or drop by over the weekend. Apparently it involves a giant bouncy castle, we’re intrigued.

Drag
Learn about the history of Drag through this new play at The Blue Room in Northbridge, Swish Eveready and Fab Panache lead a cast of queens in this brand new show. This is not a drag queen lip-syncing for 3 minutes in-between the disco tunes, this is a full theatrical production. Get down early it starts at 7pm.

Triple J favourite plays at The Bakery tonight.

Famous Fridays at Connections Night Club
Head down to the club and hang out on the terrace or get grooving on the dance floor.

SATURDAY

Hexx at Manhattans
In the new edition of OUTinPerth we list the A-Z of cool and interesting things in Perth – H is for Hexx. Check out this night of drone, industrial and experimental music at Manhattans in Victoria Park.

Wicked
A word of warning, if you go see this show the songs will be stuck in your head for days. If your work colleagues have also seen the show your office may descend into endless choruses about wanting to be popular… or maybe that’s just our office. Playing at the Burswood Theatre.

The Beautiful Losers
Head downstairs at His Majesty’s for this show which is described as part confessional and part cabaret.

Ballet Revolucion
Ballet, contemporary dance and hip hop from Cuba will fill The Regal Theatre in Subiaco.

The Johnny Nandez Hammond Explosion
Head down to Deville’s Pad for this retro organ smorgasbord of funky sounds.

Connections Night Club
New show Gleek Season Two starts on Saturday, not to be missed. The show’s usually on around 1pm.

SUNDAY

The Court
Head down to the Court and have a relaxing time in the beer garden.

Prisoner Art
The Fremantle Prison art gallery has a new exhibition of art created by prisoners in WA.

The Panda Band
Playing at The Newport in Fremantle, longstanding local indie band – worth a listen.
