Television chef Kylie Kwong has taken to social media to share her love for her same-sex partner, mononymous artist Nell.
Sharing a photo of the pair, Kwong tells the story of losing her father to cancer and finding support for both herself and her family from her partner.
“11 years later I can honestly say, having #nellartist in my day-to-day has been the happiest & most fulfilling time of my entire existence,” Kwong writes.
“No one understands my crazy characters or ‘gets me’, more than this person.”
Kwong goes on to announce that she asked Nell to marry her back in 2015.
“LUCKY for me, she said YES, YES, YES!!! I can’t wait to marry my Nell… she is my EVERYTHING and well… she is just SO DAMNED COOL!”
Kwong wraps up the post with hashtags showing her support for a yes vote in the upcoming postal survey.
The post has currently been shared over 800 times, and has hundreds of comments celebrating their love.
