Ryan Murphy drops clues for upcoming American Horror Story

Television mastermind Ryan Murphy is known for shrouding each season of American Horror Story in mystery before revealing the theme of the anthology series.

The upcoming seventh season is no exception, and Murphy has been leaving a trail of breadcrumbs ahead of the season reveal on Thursday.

So far, Murphy has suggested the upcoming season will star series favourites Sarah Paulson, Even Peters and Cheyenne Jackson, as well as newcomers Billy Eichner and Colton Haynes. John Carroll Lynch will also return as Season 4’s terrifying villain – Twisty The Clown.

The Feud creator has said the new season will have something to do with the 2016 US Presidential Election, along with some more cryptic visual hints on his personal Instagram. The final hint before this week’s reveal is the image of a man covered in bees.
