Back to the beginning with new ‘Prime Suspect’

A new TV series brings back sleuth Jane Tennison. While the Prime Suspect miniseries that ran between 1991 and 2006 followed Tennison as she rose through the ranks to become a Detective Superintendent, this new show goes right back to the start of her career. Stefanie Martini takes over the lead role as WPC Tennison for this gritty crime drama.

The Handmaid’s Tale catch the TV adaptation of Margret Atwood’s tale of a dystopian future on SBS OnDemand this month. All ten episodes of the series can be streamed. It features Orange is the New Black star Samira Wiley and Elisabeth Moss from Mad Men.

Screen star Olivia de Havilland is suing the production Feud over the way she was depicted in the series. The 101 year old movie star has lodged legal documents claiming the way she portrayed by Catherine Zeta Jones in the series undermines her integrity and dignity. De Havilland is the only star depicted in the series who is still alive.
