Singer Peter Andre has announced an Australian tour that will see him play a show at the Crown Theatre in November.
Since first release Drive Me Crazy was released in 1992 Andre has gone on to sell over 20 million records around the globe.
He scored his breakthrough hit with Gimme a Little Sign, a cover of a 60’s soul tune originally recorded by Brenton Wood. It was the highest selling single in Australia in 1993.
Andre, and his famous six-pack, will perform his first headline shows here in 20 years.
Back in the ’90s Andre was the opening act for both Madonna and Bobby Brown’s Australian tours.
The singer has been getting rave reviews on his current UK tour and has been performing all his greatest hits including Mysterious Girl, Gimme Little Sign, Funky Junky, Get Down On It, Flava and All Night All Right.
Since relocating to the United Kingdom Andrew has also had a successful television career appearing on British television shows Strictly Come Dancing and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.Â
He has also had a fly-on-the-wall documentary series documenting his life with model Katy Price, the pair were a couple between 2004 and 2009.
Joining Andre on his Australian tour will be CBD. The band have just staged a successful come back with their party album Tailored for Now: Eleven Party Super Jams.
