RuPaul's Drag Race renewed for 10th season

The Drag Race phenomena doesn’t look like it’s going to run out of steam anytime soon. RuPaul’s show has just been renewed for a tenth season.

The show will start its engines for a tenth time in March 2018 following astounding ratings for it’s current season.

RuPaul welcomed the announcement which will mark up the show’s first decade on our screens.

“As we celebrate a Decade of Drag, we’ll continue to tell universal stories of the tenacity of the human spirit,” RuPaul said. “Now more than ever, we rely on the power of love, laughter and creativity to combat fear and darkness.”

The show spent its first eight seasons on Logo TV, but in 2017 moved to VH1 in the USA, bringing it an even bigger audience. The show currently screens in Australia on streaming service Stan.

Over it’s nine years the show has made many Drag Queens international stars.

Pandora Boxx, Sharon Needles, Jinkx Monsoon, Alaska, Latrice Royale, Adore Delano, Courtney Act, Bianca Del Rio, Ginger Minge, Bob the Drag Queen and Charlie Hides are some of the stars who’s profiles have been boosted after appearing on the show.
