Rowland will take up the fourth spinning chair alongside Seal, Delta Goodrem and Boy George. Jessie J and Joel and Benji Madden who featured in the 2016 series won’t be returning.

Rowland’s last regular appearance on an Australian TV show was when she was a coach on Channel Ten’s Short-lived series Everyboy Dance Now

As part of the incredibly successful girl group Destiny’s Child Rowland sold millions of albums and topped the charts with hits including Say My Name, Independent Woman, Bills Bills Bills, Survivor and Bootylicious.

When the band went on hiatus in 2002, Rowland launched a successful solo career scoring hits with Stole, Can’t Nobody and Dilema – which was a duet with rapper Nelly.  Rowland topped the charts again when she sang the vocal on David Guetta’s hit When Love Takes Over.

The sales of Destiny’s Child and Rowland’s solo career top 100 million. Her most recent album is 2013’s Talk a Good Game which saw her return to an RnB style.

The Voice – Australia returns to Chanel Nine in 2017.
