Singer Darren Hayes is the latest celebrity to add their name to the ‘Say I Do Down Under’ campaign for marriage equality.
The Savage Garden singer tweeted;
“As a happily married gay man I support @Sayidodownunder – come on Australia #loveislove”
The singer signed off his tweet with a rainbow coloured love heart.
Hayes has added his name alongside Kylie Minogue and fiance Joshua Sasse, country icon Dolly Parton, Scissor Sister’s frontman Jake Shears, actress Margot Robbie, Natalie Imbruglia, Ellen DeGeneres and a host of other celebrities who have called on the Australian government to take action on marriage equality.
It’s not the first time Hayes has shown her a vocal supporter of marriage equality, back in June the singer published an open letter to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull calling on him to show some leadership.
