HBO have released a teaser for the sixth season of Game of Thrones, and it comes as no surprise that everyone’s head is on the chopping block.

The teaser shows long-deceased characters heads filling the Hall of Faces, in the Temple of Black and White where viewers last saw Arya Stark. The faces are coupled with iconic quotes from the characters, most of which played a part in foreshadowing their own demise.

The trailer ends with the heads of six remaining fan favourites, sat next to each other in the Hall of Faces.

What could this mean for Tyrion, Arya, Danaerys, Cersei, Jamie and Sansa? Does it confirm the safety of influential, absent characters like Margaery, Ramsay and Bran?

One thing is certain in the world of George R. R. Martin; All men must die.
