Mental health support service Lifeline WA have announced the appointment of new CEO, Lorna MacGregor.
The news comes as Lifeline’s former CEO of four years Fiona Kalaf moves to her new position as CEO of Youth Focus.
Ms MacGregor will take the mantle with extensive experience, working as Chief Operations Officer at Perth North Medicare Local.
Lifeline WA Board Chair Mark Hector says the organisation is extremely privileged to have her at the helm.
“She has an impeccable professional background including reaching out to other through her work as the Chair of ECHO, a community aged care organisation,” Mr Hector says.
Ms MacGregor says she is excited about her new role.
“Lifeline WA is the leading provider of suicide prevention services in WA and I look forward to building its life-saving work even further,” she said.
“I am confident that my background and expertise in the areas of mental health service delivery, strategic development and business development will be of great benefit to this dynamic organisation.”
