Among the competitors was drag personality Scarlett Adams, who showed that she could deliver some impressive moves on the dance floor.

The event was hosted by the exuberant Famous Sharron who was decked out in colourful ensemble that was topped off

The dancer quickly moves through the rounds of the competition, every few minutes a new category would start, novices, intermediates or open categories, different rankings, different dancers.

The couples would quickly race to the floor and being their dancing, with solemn judges making notes at the side of the dance floor.

Some couples keep it simple, but other have worked in elaborate turns, spins and dangerously acrobatic dips.

As each couple moves around the room, complete with ornate walls and an impressive ceiling, it’s amazing that they never crash into each other.

The competition drew dancers from all across Australia.

Tonight OUTdance is hosting a Halloween Social Dance at the Fremantle Town Hall, tickets are available on the door.
