RTRFM get down and dirty for Radiothon 2015

RadiothonParty_WEBVERSIONIt’s that time again! Listeners are encouraged to dig deep and support community radio for this year’s Radiothon, as RTRFM announce a garden theme for the radio station’s annual fundraising drive.

The 10-day event beings with ‘Breakfast with Caitlin’ on Friday August 14th, through til Sunday 23rd – over a week of special guests and interviews, live performances, shenanigans and prizes galore.

Subscribers and those who donate to the station will enter the draw to win a plethora of prizes, including a home solar package from Infinite Energy, a collection of all of RTRFM’s Feature albums from the past year or the grand prize – flights, accommodation and backstage passes for the ultimate WOMADelaide experience.

The annual Radiothon Party will kick start the live festivities on Saturday August 15th, setting Northbridge alight with 23 of Perth’s best local acts.

The Radiothon Party will feature music at Connections Nightclub, The Bird and Jimmy’s Den, as well as the Lounge and Studio Underground foyer at the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia.

Connections Nightclub will cater to the dance-floor with Andrew Sinclair vs Rok Riley, Catlips and The Monarchy DJs, while Lounge on William keep it laid back with Woodstock Rock, Golden Apples and {MOVE} DJs.

Jimmy’s Den will feature hard rock heavyweights The Love Junkies, Pat Chow and Puck and over at the Bird you can catch Mugwump, Rat Columns, The Spunloves and more.

The State Theatre will be hosting a very special edition of local talk show Magnolia’s Late Night Live, hosted by Matt Aitken and Tristan Fidler in the Studio Underground Foyer, followed by Heathcote Blue, The Leap Year, Red Jezebel and The Kill Devil Hills until the early hours.
