Godskitchen

Godskitchen hits Metro City on October 8, and this year everything is going white. Andy Moor is headlining the night and took some time to chat with OUTinPerth from the back of a taxi somewhere in Canada.

Can you describe your style for the readers?
Electronic, 4/4 dance music. Accessible but cool, melodic but deep, driving yet groovy, hopefully very loud.

What do you think of the current state of electronic music? In the world as a whole it’s as good as ever. More diverse, more interesting, generally more successful. There is a lot of room for improvement, in the quality of music, the way music is consumed / ‘paid for’ etc. But as a whole the scene is thriving.

What was the most outrageous party you’ve ever played?
Let me answer this question after the Australia tour 🙂

The theme for Godskitchen this year is white – will you be wearing a costume this year? I haven’t thought about it yet. I’ll take a look around the Australian Halloween stores, failing that I could put a bed sheet over my head. Seriously though I’ll give it some consideration and am sure I can find something to fit in with the theme.

If you could be a transformer, what would change into and why? A pea. Nobody is going to give a pea credit unless it does something that deserves it without the aid of perception. Everybody should be a transformer pea.

Godskitchen happens Friday October 8 @ Metro City. Dress WHITE. www.mellenevents.com
