Bettylou Rose’s ‘Good Clean Fun’ opened at Deville’s Pad last night and lived up to it’s title.
This country flavoured show sees singer Bettylou Rose, with her hair is the biggest beehive ever, sing a selection of country, and countrified songs while sharing stories about her life.
Filled with tales of back when she worked at the Laundromat before she became a world famous country singer, this show has a perfect mix of anecdotes and songs.
Opening up the show with a rendition of the Perry Como hit ‘Deep in the Heart of Texas’ this show transports you to a world of Americana.
Bettylou Rose works her way through a variety of songs including classics by Johnny Cash and more than one Dolly Parton tune. Rose also displayed her ample kazoo playing talent transforming an well known INXS tune into something completely different.
Backed by her three piece band The Banditos this show was quirky, charming and endearing.
