Sasha_press pic_2014_resizedLegendary British DJ Sasha has just announced a tour of Australia including a date at The Court Hotel on November 2nd.

Sasha’s career started in the UK in the late 80’s when he was part of the acid house movement. In the early 90’s he worked alongside Jon Digweed producing remixes and touring.

Sasha’s 2002 album ‘Airdrawndager’ is a favourite among music critics, a collection of electronic tunes that are distinctly different to his remix and DJ output, favouring chilled ambient sounds over heavy dance beats.

More recently Sasha launched the record label ‘Last Night on Earth’. Head here to check out some of their artists.

Alongside his trip to Perth Sasha will play Chinese Laundry in Sydney on November 1, before flying up to Brisbane on the same day to play at The Met, on November 3rd Sasha will be at The Prince of Wales in Melbourne.

For tickets head here. Check out Sasha’s mix for Mixmag to hear the man in action.
