What Are Your Experiences of the School Chaplain Program?

yay-10395802The National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare program has been a controversial program since its inception in 2007.

Concern has been raised that the new federal budget allocates $245million dollars to this program but limits the funding to religious organisations. Previously schools were also able to apply the funding to secular counselors.

Concern has been raised that LGBT students may be given poor advice through this program.
