Two men have been arrested in Uganda for allegedly having gay sex.
Police arrested Maurice Okello, 22, and Anthony Oluku, 18, in the northern town of Oyam.
District Police Commander Najibu Waiswa told NTV Uganda that the teenager “sodomised” Mr Okello.
Commander Waiswa told the TV crew there was no doubt that the men had been having sex because they had been medically examined, “The doctor proved beyond doubt that they have been practicing [sex] for long because they even had scars.”
Uganda introduced a controversial new law targeting LGBT people in February.
