ABBA Stars to Reunite on Stage

ABBABenny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus are set to perform alongside the cast of the musical ‘Mamma Mia!’ at next months Olivier Awards in London.

The male members of the iconic band were heavily involved in the creation of the musical that is celebrating it’s fifteenth anniversary.

The two have occasionally taken to the stage in the past, they joined U2 on stage in 1993 performing their hit ‘Dancing Queen’. They continue to write songs together for the Benny Anderson Orchestra, his Scandinavian folk themed band.

In 2013 the two collaborated with Dj Avicii to create the theme for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest which was held in Sweden. THis year marks the 40th anniversay of ABBA winning the Eurovision song contest with ‘Waterloo’, and there is great anticipation to see if they will be part of the 2014 event.
