Local Drag Queens have broken the mold in the last week, giving up lip syncing and diving into live vocals.
Last week at Bingay Hannah Conda gave an impromptu rendition of a Whitney Houston number which was, let’s be honest, frankly terrible.
Yet, the live vocals haven’t stopped there, at Drag Factory on Wednesday night Veronica Jean Jones busted out a live rendition of the Outkast tune ‘Roses’. VJJ surprises the crowd with her amazing rapping skills, delivering not the rap from the song but her own flow that she created herself.
At the end of the night Hannah Conda and Veronica Jean Jones teamed up for musical theatre moment launching into a tune from ‘Wicked’.
We know Feminem the Future can hold a tune, but we’re looking forward to BarbieQ, Scarlett Adams, Ruby Jewelz and Sheila Mann to make their singing debuts, the challenge is on.
